Very nice set of three houses, designed by the duo August Cols and Alfried Defever in 1900. The three houses are different, but identical by the yellow brick and the white stone bands which punctuate the facades.

Each house has an important, differentiating element, the house on the left has an oriel window with a four-sided roof, decorated with very elaborate Art Nouveau ironwork. The cornice and the roof, on the other hand, are very neo-classical.

The middle house has a very imposing trapezoidal oriel window, surmounted by a balcony adorned with a semi-circular wrought iron crown. Everything, from top to bottom, is also quite laden with superb ironwork. Note also those that connect the cornice to the facade. Decorations in ceramic panels complete the decor, representing peacocks, birds and also a female bust.

The house on the right, a little simpler, does not have an oriel window, but a beautiful ceramic panel showing a peacock and flowers, which gave the name to this set. The three entrance doors are also all different.

The set has been well restored and is in very good condition.

Houses listed in 1984, like almost the whole neighborhood.
