Rue Léon Bernus has a good number of Art Nouveau houses in Charleroi, of which only this one caught our attention.
It has a facade in two unequal bays, in red bricks alternated with hard stone, pierced with basket-handle shape windows.
A pretty, well-restored sgraffito surmounts the well-designed double-leaf entrance door decorated with ironwork.
Beautiful stained glass windows adorn the bay window on the upper floor.
The whole has been well restored and is in a good state of conservation.
