Designed in 1904 by architect Jos Bascourt, this house with a rather classic plan nevertheless includes Art Nouveau additions.
The façade is symmetrical, the lines are straight, the distribution traditional.
Basement and window sills in sculpted hardstone, with drip edge.
Classic entrance door protected by ironwork and surmounted by a pretty stained glass window representing two ducks at sunset.
A beautiful loggia leaning on two stone and brick consoles under which appears the signature of the architect.
The whole facade is worked in light bricks crossed by horizontal lines in red bricks.
The top floor has a double window on the balcony, surrounded by a large horseshoe arch dear to Bascourt. Around the balcony there must have been a polychrome decoration in mosaics or tiles which has not stood the test of time, and for lack of restoration has disappeared.
The name waterlily was probably illustrated here.
A large overflowing cornice rests on two imposing pilasters.
House listed in 1984
