Beautiful set of three houses in the geometric Art Nouveau style, designed by architects Emiel Van Averbeke and Willem Diehl in 1901, for their client August Verfaillie.
The facades are in yellow brick enhanced with hardstone. Hardstone also for the vast basement and the frames of the entrance doors.
The two side houses are perfectly identical with their rounded windows with a horseshoe arch and semicircular arch.
The woodwork is very geometric as well as all the ironwork of the windows on the ground floor and the balconies.
The central house, more imposing and built in projection is higher than its neighbors, it presents a large rectangular loggia, with a frieze in mosaics with geometric designs, surmounted by a balcony.
Everything is in fairly good condition.
Listed in 1975.
