Léon De Keyser designed this beautiful bourgeois house in 1908.

No doubt a little more marked by the Art Nouveau style than other creations on the same avenue. All openings are rounded, basket handle, semicircular arch and horseshoe arch for the beautiful window on the top floor.

The facade of glazed white bricks streaked with dark green bricks is covered with earthenware panels illustrated with exotic birds, baskets of flowers and garlands and also the name of the Villa.

Certain standard type friezes are due to the Decorative Ceramics Manufacture of Hasselt. The more elaborate panels are from Maison Helman.

The peacock panel under the cornice is particularly stylish.

The largely overhanging cornice is another typical Art Nouveau element.

House listed since November 1995.
