Jacques Deweerdt, very active in this district of Zurenborg, designed this beautiful Art Nouveau house in 1906. A facade in two bays and two floors, built in natural stone.
Floral decoration for the carved stones on the entire facade, in particular the elegant criss-crossed carved decoration starting from the two pilasters and which descends to the balcony ending in two fish holding the ironwork, a subject already present in the “Huis Les Mouettes” (1905) .
Mosaic frescoes adorn the tympanum of the right window, a bee gathering pollen from large flowers, as well as the upper windows with simpler floral decoration.
The house was listed in December 2003.
