Léon De Keyser designed this astonishing house in 1908, following in the footsteps of around ten houses on this same avenue.
This unfortunately lost its original ground floor, which became a store.
What characterizes this beautiful facade is the first floor window in a horseshoe arch, surrounded by earthenware panels decorated with peacocks proudly displaying their tails.
The earthenware was manufactured by the Helman workshops, which can be found in a large number of buildings in Brussels, Ghent and Antwerp.
A very elaborate wrought iron console frames the central door and supports the triple-sided loggia on the second floor.
An imposing rounded cornice finishes the facade.
The whole is in very good state of conservation.
