Architect Urbain Crommen designed this house in 1908 for personal use.
Very beautiful facade in glazed white bricks alternated with sculpted hard stone.
Much care has been taken with the rounded windows, woodwork and stone frames.
The hard stone base is also very accomplished.
Beautiful earthenware panels decorate the underside of the windows, the one above the door indicates the owner's profession, the architect's square and compass.
An imposing frieze decorates the underside of the cornice
These were made by Maison Helman, like most of the facade decorations on the avenue.
The gates of the streetside garden have been preserved and still bear witness to Urban Crommen's concern for perfection.
House listed in November 1995.
