Victor Boelens (1872-1955), was an active architect at the turn of the 20th century and designed several houses in Uccle and Ixelles between 1900 and 1913.

His designs are eclectic tinged with geometric Art Nouveau.

This one caught our attention with its harmonious proportions.

The facade, divided into two unequal bays, of red brick alternated with hard stone, has a beautiful entrance door surmounted by a horseshoe arch tympanum.

The door handle, very elegant, is quite inspired by those created by Hankar or Hamesse.

Main floor window with the same horseshoe arch. The whole has undergone a successful restoration, the facade which had been covered with white paint has regained its original brick.

The restored woodwork is very successful.
